Easter Bunny

Easter came and went so fast. I convinced my 2 1/2 year old that there is a bunny who comes to our house at night and hides eggs filled with candy all over our yard. It was not hard to do at all. This kind of bothers me. How do they seriously believe everything we tell them? A bunny that hides eggs filled with candy? Come on now, who's idea was that anyways? So, to go along with everyone else, in the great American tradition that is Easter, my kids are going to be fooled year after year to believe that the Easter Bunny came!

Our Day Out

The winters in Maine can be long and cold. Ok they ARE COLD AND LONG. This winter hasn't been too cold, but it's still LONG. Cabin fever is definitely getting the best of us. So, my group of Mommy friends met at the Bangor Children's Museum last Friday. It was a blast. Jacob and Olivia played with their friends for hours and hours. We returned home and the kids were tired and cranky, but it was so worth it!

Nana and Papa came for a weekend visit. There is nothing like a little visit from them to renew us all. Jacob and Olivia adore them and it's so wonderful to know that we will see them again so soon. I swore I would never do it again, but I am driving to VT, solo with the kids in Feb.
